Nursing Specialties

- Perioperative Services: CHW is committed to providing patients with optimum surgical care, both in-patient and out-patient. Our ongoing investment in training and technology makes CHW a great place to pursue perioperative-nursing opportunities.
- Cath Lab: A particularly good option for RNs with a critical care background, CHW offers many exciting opportunities in the field of minimally invasive surgical services.
- Post Anesthesia Recovery: CHW’s commitment to outstanding healthcare is also reflected in our commitment to providing patients with post-surgery care under the supervision of PACU RNs.
- Emergency Medicine: With ER facilities in a number of busy metropolitan areas, including a number of Level 1 Trauma Units, CHW offer RNs many challenging opportunities to practice Emergency Medicine.
- OB/GYN: Our birthing units are a particular source of pride at CHW, as are the range of women’s health services we provide. A nursing career in Ob/Gyn is a rewarding way to participate in the healing mission of CHW.
- Pediatric Services: As the care provider to many family-focused communities, CHW provides comprehensive pediatric services to children in California, Arizona and Nevada.

- Telemetry Care (Also known as DOU or step-down care): RNs who work in our Definitive Observation Units bridge patient needs between critical care and the general floor.
